Carrie See Yuen, LDT Board of Directors leads Zumba Class |
Carrie See Yuen, a member of the Board of Directors of LDT has been with the company for over eight (8) years.
Carrie is pictured here to the right with hot pink top and African print capri pants. Carrie has performed with LDT, is our go to person for Mistress of Ceremonies, she also is our Volunteer Coordinator and she would not admit this but, Carrie is our acting chair of the board as she conducts the meetings with prescision.

This Fundraiser was planned during LDT's spring board meeting, at which time all board members, friends and volunteers made an extra effort to contribute, culminating in a very productive result. The plans and preparation paid off and this event was a huge success, bringing our community of supporters together and raising much needed funds for future events and performances for the remainder of this year and 2014. We have received a favorable response from the NYC Council for the Humanities and funding seems to be on the horizon for LDT as well.
Coreen Robledo, also known as Eto'o Tsana has performed for LDT for several years and is on the International Advisory Board as a New York Member.
Coreen, (Eto'o Tsana) is pictured here leading the Congolese Dance Class.
Other board members were present and some participated. Carolyn Edwards is just behind Coreen in this picture. Board members honored their fiduciary responsiblity to LDT and made on the spot donations above and beyond the price of admission. Rhina Cuevas one of our newest board members was also briefly present to make a generous donation as well.
The Congolese Dance Class featured live Dummers: including Isaac Katalay from the Congo who has his own band and performed that evening at Le Poisson Rouge. Myrena Sint Jago, President/Artistic Director; Samuel Sherrod, Secretary/Treasurer and Genevieve Coffie, LDT International Advisor from Germany and Curacao were in attendence.
